CHRISTINA TINGSKOG RELATIVE DANCE PRODUCTION Chri
stina’s performances are appreciated for their wit, audience interaction and compelling physicality. She challenges her young audiences with topics beyond the ordinary, like quantum mechanics and astrophysics, transformed into poetic, humorous and expressive dance. Her works are based on how logical thinking and deduction are expressed at different ages. Her dancers, some differently abled, bring the daring, skill and range needed to communicate new, mind-blowing thoughts. Recent: Starstruck for four dancers and symphony orchestra at Stockholm Concert Hall. Astro1.0 at the Reactor Hall at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. COMET, a dance musical. Coming: Probably Improbable, a dance opera with music for children’s instruments by Daniel Nelson. Also in 2016, a choreography commission for Young Opera at the Royal Opera in Stockholm.
