rsons creates innovative, high-quality dance for young audiences, acclaimed for its strong visuals, exquisite performers and perfect interaction. With playful elegance and humour, audiences are invited to enter new and exciting worlds together with the performers. Parsons’ signature piece, Marmalade, is a sensory and tactile piece about meeting and mixing, sensing and seeing, for audiences from 2 years and up. Since its premiere in 2013, Marmalade has performed over 300 shows: at De Betovering Festival in Holland, Dommelhof Festival in Belgium, Summer Stage New York and Washington DC, APAP 2014, Swedstage and Bibu Festival 2014, IPay 2015, and Subcase Circus Showcase in Stockholm 2015. The new piece And Then is inspired by modernism and neurodiversity in a polyphonic setting. It recently appeared at Parkteatern, an outdoor venue in Stockholm, and Stadsteatern, the Stockholm City Theatre. In 2014, Claire Parsons received the City of Stockholm Cultural Award and in 2015, the Swedish Theatre Critics Award for her innovative work for young audiences.
