ANDERSSON DANCE Andersson Dance is analogous to c
horeographer Örjan Andersson’s artistry and a language derived from vastly different experiences of creating choreographic works. Whatever the context, this aspect of Örjan Andersson has been the common denominator – movement in space and time. Recent productions for Andersson Dance include Name of the next song, created to an electronic landscape by BJNilsen for four dancers and Residual bits of sunlight for five dancers to music by Sam Salem. In 2015 Andersson Dance and Scottish-based string orchestra Scottish Ensemble premiered Goldberg Variations – ternary patterns for insomnia for 11 musicians and 5 dancers, which is currently touring.
