Gig: Little Jinder Little Jinder is an artist who
has the Swedish music public’s attention following her every step. Her latest album Hejdå saw her twist her music a little, layering it with more complex, dense electronic sounds. But this show at Mosebacketerrassen is sure to be a celebration of everything she’s done so far, set on the site of the stomping ground of many of her biggest hits - turn a corner after the show and you’ll be able to see Vita Bergen’s clock. It’s almost the final show after a summer of touring for her, so it’s sure to be a good one. It was the first piece of new music we had heard from the band since their 2015 debut album Last Forever, and many thought the band had called it a day. Re-energised and re-organised with a new line-up however, they’re back with a new album, called simply Westkust, which landed in March and confirmed that the band still had everything that made them great. They’re at Debaser in September, with support from Skin Care. And now they’re being handed the keys to Trädgården, and are curating their own one-day hip-hop (well, obviously) festival. An international and local line-up of live artists includes Sabina Ddumba, Bossy LDN, Nadia Rose, Rimon and more, and there will also be great DJs, great food and more. Tickets are 200 kronor pre-sale, and available on the door for higher prices. LadiesLoveHipHop Festival, Trädgården, Sep 13 27 Photo: Hilda Randulv
