Totally Stockholm 1
Comedy: Paul Merton Have I Got News For You is a
curious standard of Britain’s TV culture, a nearly-30-years-old show that’s a cosy mix of comedy and news. Anchored in the corner for its entire run has been comic Paul Merton, making him one of the country’s most well-known comedians. He has other irons in his fire too, one of which is improv show “Impro Chums”, a joint show with his friends, physics professor Richard Vranch and Suki Webster. It’s that show that’s coming to Stockholm, dropping in at Oscarsteatern in September. That’s not the only step the artist is taking to extend the summer this year. She’s also keeping the good times going for a while longer when she drops in at Gröna Lund this September, taking over the Stora Scen. As well as Mami, she’s got a new mixtape in her backpack, OG, so she’s got plenty of material to use to set the stage on fire. As part of that book’s launch, she’s touring, and in Sweden she’ll be greeted by Annika Norlin, aka Säkert!/Hello Saferide, who’ll be in conversation with her about the new book and much more at Konserthuset. 28 Photo: Paul Edwards Photo: SPaul Edwards Photo: Spencer Ostrander
