tern’s performances are based on movement, the body’s own language. The group has been working since 1977 to develop and strengthen mime’s position as an art form. Pantomimteatern presents wordless performances for children, young adults and adults. These include performances for preschools, schools at different levels (including sign-language and special-needs schools) and families. The group has performed these narratives without words across Europe and Asia. Most recently, 10 performances were given at BAM, New York, in March 2014. In 2015, Pantomimteatern will present two works: Den vita stenen (The White Stone), based on the classic children’s book by Gunnel Linde, and Kapten Smajling och Silla vågar (Captain Smiling and Silla Dare), to be performed in the training pools at swimming pools.
