creative work has always pushed boundaries and refused to conform to expectations, or to stay firmly in one frame. The development of the artistic language is a continual process of investigation and it is with this intention, of questioning and examining, that future work will grow. His most recent work “This is that” is the follow up to the performance “How about you?”. “This is that” features two untrained performers who happens to be twin brothers. The piece can be seen as a staged play about the philosophical discrepancy between the signifier and the signified. It puts the concept of identity to the test over and over again in a soft, stripped-down and humorous way.
