Sayan Isaksson’s new opening The star chef is bac
k with his second restaurant opening of the year. The stint at Berns was short-lived for Sayan Isaksson’s restaurant Isaan when a pandemic got in the way. Isaan opened in January but closed a couple of months later, due to well-known reasons. But now Isaksson is back with a new enterprise with restaurant group Stureplansgruppen. Nour, named after his daughter, opens shortly in Garba’s old premises on Norrlandsgatan. The restaurant will serve Japanese-Nordic fusion cuisine and have room for 26 seated guests. And what about Garba you ask? They will open up again soon at a different location. Meanwhile, at Kungsholmen In early April Anna Lallerstedt filed for bankruptcy with Erik’s Basar after a year and a half on Hantverkargatan. Now the three founders behind Petit France have taken over the premises and opened a new venture under the name At Kungsholmen. The restaurant is a New York-inspired brasserie with an adjoining small covered market. It’s open daily for lunch, afternoon and dinner (11:00-23:00), with the same hours for the market. At Kungsholmen will also offer live gigs. Voisine make a comeback At the end of October Voisine will return in a new guise. During the pandemic Jonas Sandberg and Béatrice Becher chose to direct all their efforts towards their wine bar Folii, which in hindsight was probably the correct decision. But that led to the sister restaurant Voisine being shut indefinitely. Now the time has come to reopen, and with a few readjustments both when it comes to the menu and the interior. The date to look out for is some time in the second half of October. 21
