Upplevelsefilm has produced three cultural-historical films that tell the stories of herring, granite, and tourism. The films highlight the most influential events that led to the development of the communities. herring Especially during the herring periods (1748-1809 and the last, slightly smaller one from 1877-1906), many people made a living from fishing, and seasonal fishing villages were formed along the coast and on the islands. graniTe Granite has a long and exciting story to tell and has significantly contributed to the development of the communities both economically and socially. Tourism Sotenäs’ history as a popular destination began in the late 19th century.
