86 Be prepared A Trangia stove is a good thing to
have at home Trangia doesn’t only make products for outdoor life, your caravan or boat. Our pots and pans, together with our simple, safe burners and fuel, give security and independence even in our modern, electrified society. During a long power outage or natural disaster, you’ll need an alternative stove for cooking. Which stove should you choose? THERE ARE SEVERAL VERSIONS of our classic Trangia stove that offer a complete set up with windshield, frypan, pots and a burner. For example, Trangia stove 25 Large 25-21UL/D with Duossal saucepans has pots and pans with stainless steel on the inside, which makes them scratch resistant and easy to clean – perfect for a household where regular metal cutlery and cooking utensils can cause a lot of wear. Fuel for indoor use WE RECOMMEND STORING your spirits in Trangia’s fuel bottle with its safety valve for the safest possible fuel management. The cap’s construction means you don’t have to remove it when you refill your burner. A venting spout and a pouring spout allow the fuel to be poured into the burner in a steady stream so the risk of spills is minimised. GAS BURNERS AND GAS can also be used with all our stoves (with the exception of Mini Trangia). Gas is an efficient alternative that leaves almost no soot on pots and pans, and is easy to regulate. Gas canisters are available in different sizes in sporting and outdoor stores, petrol stations and grocery stores. Read more about gas as a fuel on pages 12-13. THE SPIRIT BURNER AND STOVE BASE, Open spirit stove 23, make a reliable solution if you need a heat source for the pots and pans you have at home in your kitchen. Spirit burners are tried and tested and easy to use. If you don’t want to use your regular saucepans, Trangia’s camping pots and pans are adapted for optimal function with Open spirit stove 23 – with good heat distribution and short cooking times.
