The casing is made from high impact ABS plastics, rubber-coated for a better grip and impact resistance. It has an ergonomic grip and a rubber-coated brake button. It comes with a smooth blade return action and bump-stop with an anti-wear function that protects the blade and end-hook. The 4 meter model has a slim metal belt clip. The 6 meter model has a detachable belt clip with a quick-release function that makes it easier to release the tape with one hand.
