WRECKING BAR STEEL ADJUSTABLE 209 SB Adjustable claw in nine steps for best working position. Thanks to its gear ring, it can handle the same stresses as a standard wrecking bar. Made of high quality steel. Optimized for pulling out nails. The curved section at the handle makes space for the hand and minimizes the risk of crushing damage. Secure strap function. Ergonomic rubberclad handle. Wide, ground contact surfaces and thin ends make it easy to use and reduce the risk of leaving marks. Steel or aluminum. WILL OF STEEL OR FLEXIBLE AS ALUMINUM Steel is almost three times as heavy as aluminum, but it is also three times as strong. When doing work where weight and power is critical to achieving a good result, steel is the obvious choice. Aluminum is easier to work with and gentler on the materials. It doesn’t rust, is more resistant to cold and is much more flexible. An aluminum tool can be “bent” about three times as much as a steel tool without becoming deformed, making it ideal for fitting and adjusting construction materials. Ergonomical tips. BE KIND TO YOUR BODY. To help you steer clear of any injuries, we’ve come up with a few tips. Always work with a straight back but try to avoid working with straight arms. You should also avoid working with bent wrists. The best thing to do is to try and change your work posture as often as you can. Also try to avoid getting into too many situations that involve jerking and wrenching. It’s also good to know that aluminum is considerably gentler on your body, particularly when working at shoulder height or above. 41
