E The Soya Academy – an initiative to foster continuous learning and knowledge sharing within Soya Group – is up and running. “I encourage everybody to log in and get acquainted with the portal,” says Nicole Siegbahn Wrethagen, who supervises the Academy. S 18 OUR WAY 1/2024 oya Academy, the new internal learning portal, is a strategic tool to support Soya Group’s vision of continuous education and skills development. The development of the platform began over two years ago and it is based on the Grade system, a Learning Management System (LMS) developed by Lund University. “It’s great that education is becoming a natural part of the corporate world. Lifelong learning is important to keep co-workers engaged, satisfied and up to date. The new, user-friendly portal is a way to gather, document and review the existing knowledge of our co-workers, and encourage further learning and skills development. Soya Academy is easily accessible through the intranet, where each co-worker has their own login”, says superuser Nicole Siegbahn Wrethagen, Learning and Development Specialist at Soya Group. EACH CO-WORKER can track their training history on the platform and will receive invitations to new programmes as they are launched. All online courses are always available free of charge. Others, like physical project management and leadership courses, are instructor-led and require managers to sign up co-workers. Soya Academy is also great for new co-workers as it offers easy access to on-boarding. “In our businesses, certain training courses and authorisations are mandatory. The platform provides an overview of all company competence, making it easy for managers to ensure that co-workers have the necessary qualifications. Soya Academy offers a diverse range of courses, from the mandatory cyber security course to courses in sustainability, and courses in AI will be launched this spring. So, stay tuned! We hope all co-workers keep Soya Academy top of mind,” says Nicole. SOYA ACADEMY IS EASILY ACCESSIBLE THROUGH THE INTRANET, WHERE EACH CO-WORKER HAS THEIR OWN LOGIN.
