BITESIZE Words: Pelle Tamleht New ramen joint One
of the founders of Ai Ramen, Lowe Elers, has sold his share of that ramen chain and started a new restaurant selling – you guessed it – ramen. The new Kapibara is situated on Riddargatan 20, and will widen Östermalm’s ramen options. Their menu is short, listing five different ramen dishes, two of them vegetarian, plus a couple of lighter options. On the drinks side they offer a range of non-alcoholic and low-alcoholic beers. The restaurant opened just before the new year, and Lowe Elers is open to expansion in the future. Kapibara is open for lunch and dinner all days through the week. Kebab at Nytorget Exactly three years after they opened at Hornsbergs Strand, Mahmut Suvakci’s kebab restaurant Çok is getting a younger sibling. The restaurant will be located just around the corner from the restaurateur-slash-actor’s burger joint Lily’s Burger, so yes, it’s yet another restaurant opening at Nytorget. The new Çok will have room for about 60 guests. Nizza opens wine bar and bakery The adjoining premises at Bormästargatan 7 have been taken over and refurbished, destined to re-open as an extension of Café Nizza. When Cave Nizza opens here in March, it will serve as a wine bar and bakery producing bread and pasta. Apart from the wines on the menu, there will also be a spread of small Francophile dishes, and you’ll also have the opportunity to buy takeaway delicacies. 20
