If you are not dressed correctly, cold weather will relentlessly hamper your performance, reducing your mobility as well as draining your energy levels. A high-quality shell jacket is a great item for keeping cold wind and rain out and for creating an insulating layer of air between the jacket and the mid-layer garment. However, when it’s really cold or when you are frequently switching back and forth between warm and cold conditions (inside/outside), an insulated shell jacket is usually a better option since it enables you to smoothly and quickly heat up or cool down your workwear outfit. We line our insulated shell jackets with relatively thin padding to make them a perfect choice for a longer period of time during the year. Ventilation keeps the cold out. It’s not that difficult to dress warmly when the weather is cold. However, choosing the right type of clothing requires a bit more thought. When you’re working hard, your body starts to sweat. As you ease off, the moisture your body has produced will start to cool you down. In order to stay dry and comfortable, you need advanced ventilation and the ability to regulate your body heat. We therefore recommend that you to always consider the breathability features of outer garments. The breathability is determined by two factors: either by the breathability of the fabric and/or by the built-in functions for ventilation such as zips or mesh areas. DRESS IN LAYERS 185
