by! June sees a colourful and chaotic month in the city as Dublin’s hottest party-starters gear up to celebrate in style. With enough parties to take you from day to night, the toughest part will be choosing which ones to attend (and what to wear). On June 20, Signs of Space brings much-loved Dublin duo Long Island Sound for an all-nighter in Tengu. The special open-to-close show celebrates their forthcoming single, Tide. Expect euphoria. On June 21, Tengu links up with DIY crew SCARLET to bring over Reptant for a live show with ACKERMAN and ÓIR. The Dublin DIY construction collective and party series will make their debut at Tengu with the intention to completely transform the space through architecture and immersive design. Also on June 21 is a collaboration between The Lounge and The Shed in Wigwam. This time they’re hosting one of the most in-demand DJs in garage, house, and everything in between, Club Angel, for his highly anticipated Dublin debut. With Chameleon, Tolentechno and Angel Tabris on support, this isn’t one to miss. 42 Kicking off Pride weekend is Cormac and Mercorn in The Racket Space on June 27. Two of Ireland’s finest homegrown selectors who are guaranteed to bring the heat. Over in Wigwam, also on June 27, is their Pride pre-party. They’re bringing over Lolsnake for an intimate basement headline show. The founder of Berlin-based queer party series ‘Weeeirdos’, she is known for the heady atmospheres and hypnotic moods that she stirs up through her sets. June 28 sees an absolutely stacked host of events as the city celebrates Pride, with enough parties to carry revellers from day to night. First up is Dublin Modular’s annual yard party in Pallas Projects Studios, with a soon-tobe-announced lineup of ‘Queer Hot and Sexy DJs.’ Across the city is Tender’s Pride block party, a day-to-night affair in The Complex. Lineup also to be announced on this one but raucous queer vibes are guaranteed. That night sees RATHAUS transform The Grand Social into BABYLON—an ancient city of decadence, indulgence, and rebellion. With an all-FLINTA lineup and two floors of music, you’ll be spoiled for choice. Also on the 28th, The Racket Space and bump join forces to bring over Eoin DJ. The Berlin-based Irish DJ and producer is known for their emotive, colourful selections and hip-moving beats. In Tengu, Bull Horris and ADRIANA team up for an all-vinyl set, with 50% of all proceeds going to The Small Trans Library. All night, all wax – definitely going to be one for the books. HONEYPOT returns to Wigwam for their annual full-venue takeover. With a packed lineup of local heroes, from DJs to performers and more, and with Efa O’Neill as the headliner, this is set to be another historic Pride party. FLINTAs to the front. On July 4, Move D plays an all night long set in Fidelity Studio. A master of deep house, his sets are known for their immersive atmospheres, subtle grooves and fluid, dancefloor-focused energy. On July 19, Research presents a 12-hour day to night party in block. With Ignez, stranger, Dylan Fogarty, Vilchezz, Bronwyn and MEJMI on the lineup, as well as their strict no-phones policy, this is set to be an immersive feast for the senses.
