The Sound House. 22nd Of November. 13:30-16:30. €15. Gig Review - The Grand Social - August 23rd. This gig was great! The venue was very well organized with no alcohol being served in the actual gig room and only being served in the bar outside. It was quite a large crowd as well and everyone was really nice. The Grand Social is always a lovely venue. Blackout Blinds is an Irish rock band with their debut single ‘Atoned’ out now. With an amazing guitarist, this band really is something you cannot miss. I like their cover of 505 and Birds. They were great and I can’t wait to see what they come out with next! Dopamine was by far the best band there. They had the stage presence, the sound and the looks. They have music out on Spotify that I recommend everyone go look at. I can actually see this band going very far. They were an amazing closing act. I honestly cannot recommend this band enough. Charcoal Greys also have original music out now. For a band that was filling in for a pullout they were good for a short notice. They could be working on a more original sound but for young people they were great. I liked their vibe and with a bit more work, this band could definitely get somewhere. The Tanseys unfortunately had a faulty microphone so it was hard to hear them. They had really nice covers and their original stuff was very interesting. They are releasing some original songs soon so keep an eye out.
