oking in the outdoors – here’s how to use a Trangia stove Its beauty is in its simplicity and the Trangia stove’s ease of use is one of the factors behind its enduring popularity among outdoor enthusiasts. Not complicating matters unnecessarily has always been a guiding principle in our product development work, and this is also true when using the Trangia stove. IMPORTANT How to use your stove n SELECT A SHELTERED position for the best results and maximum fuel efficiency. n POSITION THE AIR HOLES in the lower windshield towards the wind for good air intake. n PLACE THE BURNER on the ground beside the stove, fill it with fuel (max. 2/3 full) and place it in the lower windshield. n POSITION THE UPPER windshield on the lower windshield and turn to fasten into place. n FLIP ALL THE HOOKS down to use a saucepan or kettle, and flip them up to use the frypan. n USE THE HANDLE to position the supports and other parts once the burner has been lit. n USE THE FRYPAN as a lid for the saucepan to save fuel and shorten cooking time. n USE ONLY WOODEN/PLASTIC utensils in all non-stick pots and pans. n PLACE THE SIMMER ring with open lid on the burner and regulate the flame with the brown lid. n TO EXTINGUISH the flame, close the lid on the simmer ring. n NEVER LEAVE the stove unattended and adjust the position of the stove if the wind direction changes.
