EER EVENTS Haus of W.I.G. The Housewarming - Nov 18th, 2022, The Sugar Club Haus of W.I.G. The Hauswarming is a night of lights, live music, dancing, comedy, games and lip syncs you do not want to miss. Drag performers Naomi Diamond, Donna Fella & Shaqira Knightly, aka The Haus of W.I.G. present The Hauswarming which promises a formidable line up of special guests, which includes burlesque & aerial performer Bugsy Devine, popular drag performers Anziety and Vicky Volltz, and breakout star of THISISPOPBABY’s Wake, Dj Duncan Disorderly. The party doesn’t stop after the performances are finished though, as all ticket holders are invited to stick around for the after party. (It’s rumoured that there may be some extra performances too). @hausofwig @thesugarclub Drag and Draw We love a night out with a twist, and if you are looking for something a little different with all the glamour, you have to check out Drag and Draw. The evening consists of life drawing classes with some of Irelands top drag performers acting as the models. Keep your eyes peeled for these events which are held regularly across Ireland in safe, queer spaces, such as Street 66 in Dublin. Adrian Colwell, who runs the evening, also holds other queer events for those who like trying something different for an evening out. @draganddraw MUSIC Aly & AJ - The Touch of the Beat Tour - Nov 10th, 2022, The Academy Aly & AJ’s music has resonated and been celebrated in the Queer Community since they hit the music scene in 2004 with their debut album Into the Rush. The two sisters are massive allies to the community, and have been involved in charities such as The Trevor Project, the world’s largest suicide prevention and mental health organisation for LGBTQ+ youths. They are currently on tour with their deluxe album The Touch of the Beat Tour, and will be at The Academy in Dublin on the 10th of November. Tickets are available through the Academy’s website. @alyandaj @academydublin A monthly round up of queer artists, events and club nights that celebrate and welcome the LGBTQ+ community. CABARET The Curtis Cabaret: Christmas Special - December 11th, 2022, The Sugar Club Ok, ok, so this one is a bit of self promotion, but the first night was one to remember and I wanted to share with you the upcoming night. I premiered my first Cabaret night, The Curtis Cabaret at The Sugar Club back in September. It was a musical night filled with big performances, big personalities and the unexpected. The Curtis Cabaret returns to The Sugar Club for its Christmas Special, where the performers will share with the audience what is on their nice and naughty lists, and of course a sprinkle of festive cheer. Come and start your festive season with a night that promises to be a little bit nice, a little bit naughty, and a whole lot of fun. @thesugarclub CLUBBING Bukkake: Nov 18th, 2022, Opium Bukkake is a gay night club, and encourages anyone who feels like a fabulous freak or party monster to come along and party til very late. There next event is at The Opium on Wexford Street, Dublin on the 18th of November. Resident Dj’s Paddy Scahill and Moa Montiero will play the main room, and Dj Luke Donegan will be playing the backroom.
