Totally Stockholm 1
New opening The duo Robin Moderato and Christophe
r Ellertsson have worked together for most of the last 20 years. Working in different constellations, they have restaurants like Vassa Eggen, Boqueria and Carousel on their CV. At the turn of the year, they will return to the restaurant world with a new restaurant at Norra Stationsgatan. “We are immediately attracted to the location and the spectacular building. It is a very exciting area that already feels like an established neighbourhood with innovative architecture. There isn’t anything else like it in Stockholm and it’s inspiring to be able to be along for the journey and see this really cool area grow up,” says Robin Moderato. The new pavilion, in which the restaurant will be housed, covers 375 square metres, and consists of two floors at the intersection between Norra Stationsgatan and Dalagatan. The pavilion is part of Humlegården’s new ambitious launch Norra Station, a block situated right where Hagastaden and Vasastaden run into each other. The menu will be a blend of smaller dishes, and the focus will be on modern European cooking. The restaurant will also have a cocktail bar, a chambre séparée, and by spring they’ll open an outdoor terrace on the new square that will be part of the building’s development. The as-ofyet unnamed eatery is expected to open its doors in early January. New restaurant at Skanstull After a sneak preview with a pizza bonanza, it’s now time for us all to pay a visit to Ringvägen’s newest restaurant Triton. Behind the launch we find a gang of people with experience from places such as Gastrologik, Woodstockholm, Oaxen and Ekstedt. Triton offers a three-course set-menu for about 600 kronor, and this will be under constant change, as it will be based on the available seasonal produce. When it comes to drinks, they will focus on European wine, with a large part of that being natural wine. Restaurang Triton, Tuesdays-Sundays 17:00-23:00. Ringvägen 87. triton.restaurant. Agrikultur becomes Bord The new name that’s very difficult to Google (bord means table in Swedish) opens in January, almost a month to the day after the celebrated restaurant Agrikultur, formerly - or actually currently still - of these premises, will serve their last dish. The restaurant, opened in 2015 by Filip Fastén and Joel Åhlin, earned a Michelin star in 2018, and has kept it ever since. But now news of their successor is official. The new restaurant Bord will offer carefully chosen raw produce and wines, served via an a la carte menu, and with the option of a special four-course Saturday lunch. The ship will be steered by the renowned chef Joel Aronsson and his entourage. Joel was lastly seen at Ett Hem, but also has experience from the starred restaurant Fäviken.
