F HOLDAR AI is rapidly reshaping our way of working. That’s why Soya Group makes sure all co-workers are involved from the start. “AI evolves daily—we want everyone engaged in this journey,” says Göran Björk, Group Digitalization Executive Officer at Soya Group. M uch like the shift from paper to computers, AI marks a major technological leap. “Some fear change, but raising knowledge levels helps overcome resistance,” Göran says. Given AI’s astonishing pace of development, an innovative mindset is crucial: “We must stay ahead of emerging technologies and sharing knowledge maximizes benefits,” he adds. SINCE 2023, GÖRAN Björk and Catherine Kleberg have led Soya Group’s AI initiatives. Last year, the mandatory Soya Academy AI training for all co-workers was launched to spark curiosity and create a foundation of knowledge, as well as an understanding of how Soya Group can use AI in the best possible way. All co-workers across Soya Group have completed the training. “There is strong interest in AI within Soya Group. The training explained AI’s role and clarified regulations,” says Catherine Kleberg, AI Project Manager at Soya Group. “Next, we’re holding business-specific 6 OUR WAY 1/2025 Anna Felländer CEO anch.AI workshops aimed at developing pilot projects, moving from theory to application. AI is like a muscle—it needs training. We want co-workers to get ideas and integrate AI into their daily work. Everyone should see AI as an accessible tool,” she adds. AI GOVERNANCE EXPERT Anna Felländer, CEO of anch.AI, and Stefan Larsson, lawyer and Associate Professor of Technology and Social Change at Lund University, are facilitators of Soya Group’s workshops. They point out that AI is starting to help Soya Group streamline work processes and document management, scheduling, payroll, invoicing and other automated tasks. “AI can save time and money, boost efficiency, and create greater value when implemented responsibly,” Anna says, listing more possibilities: “AI can also improve sustainability by tracking and reducing carbon emissions and support any information-intense activity with improved insights, overview and structure via available chat-interfaces.
