13 Spring 2020 While it is certainly possible to
have a successful translation workshop with nothing more than pens and paper (as SELTA has done previously), having a real life author before you makes for an entirely different experience. Preparations are currently underway to publish a special issue of Swedish Book Review online magazine by the summer, featuring the work of our invited authors, and others, in addition to features and reviews that engage with the concepts of new and diverse writing in Swedish. ‘diversity of background and experience was something that had always featured in literature’ Grants for promotion, travel and themed events, like this translators’ seminar, can be applied for at the Swedish Literature Exchange.
