In addition to an MSc degree in Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics, he brings broad experience from different roles at Elekta and previously from senior management consulting, as well as intimate knowledge of the medical device industry. “I am honored to take on the role of President and CEO of this fantastic company. TONE KVÅLE has been appointed Chief Financial Officer and member of the management team. She has a strong track record of more than 20 years of financial experience in the biotech and life sciences industry. Most recently, she was CFO at Nordic Nanovector. Prior to that she had CFO roles at NorDiag, Kavli Holding, and Dynal Biotech, as well as senior management positions in the US at Invitrogen/Life Technologies. In these roles she helped the companies raise over EUR 200m in financing, was involved in several trade sales, M&A and licensing deals, and was responsible for financial reporting under various reporting standards, including US GAAP and IFRS. She has a diploma in finance and administration from UiT The Arctic University of Norway, Harstad. “I was drawn to Herantis because of its science promising to bring innovations that address critical gaps in the current standard of care for patients with these diseases,” Kvåle says. GAYLE MILLS will be a member of the executive management team at the clinical-stage biotechnology company Alligator Bioscience, headquarted in Lund, Sweden. Mills is a renowned business development professional with an unmatched industry network and extensive knowledge of the biotech and pharma landscape, states the company. She has a successful track record of executing large research and development collaborations and transactions and has held senior positions with Roche Bioscience, Abgenix, Inc. and Symphogen A/S. Mills joined Alligator Bioscience on September 28, 2020. “With Gayle Mills’ background and deep understanding of the antibody drug development process, and her proven track record of signing deals, it is with great excitement I welcome her to Alligator Bioscience and to my executive management team,” says Per Norlén, Chief Executive Officer at Alligator Bioscience. MARI SUNDLI TVEIT has previously been Director of Politics at NHO, rector at NMBU and Chair of the Board of the Norwegian University and College Council. She is a professor of landscape architecture, and is a board member of the European University Association and Chalmers University of Technology. “Research and innovation are the very foundation of social/societal development and crucial in meeting major global challenges and in achieving the sustainability goals.
