ty and moisture protection – KABE iWall construction • The body is built according to the "Sandwich" principle with: outer sheet metal, 36 mm Ecoprim insulation, inner sheet metal and a wall covering that absorbs any condensation. • Ecoprim is a waterproof material made with closed cells, which means that it cannot absorb any moisture. • Aluminium sheeting on both sides of the Ecoprim insulation significantly reduces the impact of temperature differences. Double-fastened aluminium profile for superior structural integrity • Custom-designed, extra wide profile at the joint between the roof and wall. • The profile has an air gap that ventilates the joint between wall and roof. • The profile is mounted with double sealing strips and screwed in from two directions. • Integrated awning rails on both sides of the caravan are included. • KABE's unique iWall construction provides an unlimited number of fastening points – important for installing optional equipment. Multi-layer protection for roof joints • First, the joint between the roof and wall is carefully sealed with elastic butyl compound. • In the next step, we overlap the roof sheet with the wall sheet to prevent leakage. • Butyl tape is used throughout for all sheet metal joints, overlaps and screw penetrations. • Approximately 20 kg of sealing compound is used for each caravan. Engineered for extreme loads – such as heavy snow on the roof • Extra beams between the longitudinal chassis rails provide a more stable floor and an extra torsion-resistant chassis. • Crossbeams ensure optimal stability. • The chassis features outriggers extending from the longitudinal side rails to relieve the weight where the floor and wall are joined. Durable plastic profiles with better resale value • KABE uses plastic profiles with integrated air ducts in all moisture exposed parts of the body. • Patent is pending for the KABE-designed plastic profiles. • Our plastic profiles have excellent insulating properties. • The plastic profiles also provide better connections between the different parts of the body. Double-glazed windows – yearround comfort • Energy efficient double glazed windows with polyurethane frames that create a seal and provide optimal insulation. • The window frame is insulated and includes built-in ventilation, which prevents condensation on the inside of the window when the curtain is drawn at night. • The smooth and tinted window pane exterior protects against heat. • Seamless, integrated screens and blackout shades are included. • All windows are continuously adjustable (except the kitchen window and the windows in our Estate models). Front window that opens is standard in all models except for Estate. Comfort and control on the road with KABE Safety Driving System • Chassis with hot-dip galvanized steel profiles. • Electronically controlled anti-skid system enhances road safety (not included in Estate, optional for Gemstone). • Axles designed for smooth and stable driving. • Long, stabilising drawbars. • All caravans are equipped with friction coupling. • Single-axle caravans are equipped with premium-quality tyres. Smart storage with room for everything • Pull-out, heated ski storage with lighting. • LED indicator on the panel shows whether the light is on or off. • Storage access under the bed with built-in airflow channels. • A cargo hatch makes it easy to access the space under the bed from the outside (standard in Royal and Imperial). 29
