SPRING 2016 I’m Alive, I Think I’ve always though
t you’d get some kind of advance warning before your life fell apart. I never thought it would happen on a day like any other. But of course I should have realised. Tuesdays are always bloody awful. Kim’s best friend Moa kills herself in a car crash in the last year of high school. Everything falls apart for Kim. How can life go on? How do you deal with the sadness and the feeling of being let down because that person doesn’t exist any more? This naked, perceptive, heart-rending tale takes us along on Kim’s journey towards learning to live again. But intertwined with the melancholy and the seriousness are flashes of joy, humour and devil-may-care spirit. Christine Lundgren has recently graduated from Lund University’s creative writing degree. This is her first book. CHRISTINE LUNDGREN I’M ALIVE, I THINK RABÉN & SJÖGREN RIGHTS: RABÉN & SJÖGREN AGENCY 53 Photo: Niclas Lundgren
