ignificance of international recognition is always something which makes the hearts of most creatives beat faster. When Hozier tops the Billboard charts you may have to admit, or shrug, that it’s big news and recognition by the great leveller who are the public. Critical acclaim can be a different, but equally balming, form of flattery.
