Their outdoor café and restaurant Lusknäppen will be serving sandwiches and salads, and the garden leads back into the museum with an entrance featuring an artwork from the Finnish-Sami artist Outi Pieski. From the work ‘For the Silenced’ Fairground: Gröna Lund It’s been a tough couple of years for Gröna Lund - even as museums and some other events have made brief comebacks at various points during the pandemic, they’ve had their doors shut tight for the entire corona era. After 576 days they finally got the green light to reopen again in June, and as you might imagine, they have quite a few new tricks up their sleeve. There’s a new rollercoaster in town, Monster, and a new area with restaurants and games, inspired by New York. Capacity is still limited, and guests need to book tickets in advance, so make sure to get yours sorted if you’re looking to tiptoe back to a Tivoli this summer. Gröna Lund, open from June, see www.gronalund.com Exhibition: New Nordic Fashion Designer’s Nest is a non-profit organisation that exists to promote young Nordic designers as they’re starting out in their careers, and you’ll be able to see the talents of their 2021 crop in action in this exhibition at Prins Eugens Wademarsudde. Future Nordic Fashion is the title, and the name of the game is the up-and-comers taking their audience on a trip to the future and giving them a taste of what tomorrow has planned, via their foot-forward creations. Identity, sustainability and the interzone between art and fashion are the themes for this exhibition that’s a must see for the fashion-focussed. New Nordic Fashion, Prins Eugens Wademarsudde, on display until Oct 3. Exhibition: Future Watch The future is also the focus in this exhibition at Kulturhuset, who have invited Ashik Zaman and Koshik Zaman, founders of the art platform C-Print, to curate this modern-minded exhibition. Future Watch takes ten recentlygraduated artists from prestigious Swedish and international schools and asks them to come up with visions of the future, centred around themes like health, gentrification and activism. You can see the results at Galleri 3 and digitally (via Kulturhuset’s website) till August. Future Watch, Kulturhuset, on display until Aug 8 28 Photo: Fredrik Söder
