EAT TO THE BEAT The Slowdown is the brainchild of
Dubliner Dee Maher, a woman who wants to make you feel deadly again by banishing the noise around endless bombardment of health information and applying the science of nutrition to your life. Maher - a Certified Health & Nutrition Coach through study with the excellent International Institute of Nutrition & Health - has a simple mission: to help build a healthier, happier world, one person at a time and at The Fumbally Stables on May 22nd she curates The Lowdown, a special half day group session that promises to be an essential guide to nourishing your body through Perimenopause & beyond. Included is a deep dive into the science, the key nutrients you need to thrive and why they matter, a practical cooking demo and the all important community chats to connect with others on the same journey and share experiences and insights. Places are limited to 12 per Session. The Fumbally Stables, 8 Fumbally Lane Thurs 22nd May, 10am-1.30pm. €60 www.theslowdown.ie KIRKOS ON THE MOVE Great news is incoming that the brilliant Kirkos have found a new home. Formerly housed in Stoneybatter, the new home is situated in the more central location of Little Green St, on the site of the former Arran St East pottery school, an area that is fast becoming Dublin’s underground cultural quarter.
