Exhibition: Stig Lindberg Opening from May, Mille
sgården’s exhibition on the work of Stig Lindberg will be sure to be a nostalgic one for many of its visitors, with the artist’s designs and illustrations bringing life and imagination to a whole host of small household objects, utensils, ceramics and pottery over the years. This exhibition tells Lindberg’s life story as it presents his work, and also includes some neverbefore-seen material from his archive. It’s being curated by his son, Lars Dueholm-Lindberg. Stig Lindberg, Millesgården, opens May 29 Exhibition: Moving To Mars Another museum that is still open, with careful corona protocols in place, is Tekniska Museet. So this spring, you can get away from the claustrophobia and cabin fever of our current times by taking a trip to Mars (you know, mentally). Their new exhibition started off life at the Design Museum in London, and Stockholm is its first stop on a tour that will take it around the world. Moving to Mars explores our past, present, and especially future with the Red Planet, and will give visitors a taste of what we have already found there, and if we’ll find ourselves there at some point soon. All tickets must be booked in advance. Moving To Mars, Tekniska Museet, on display until 2022 27 Photo: Anna Gerdén Photo: Copyright Stig Lindberg
