erything Axel is not. He’s exciting, artistic and politically aware. Axel, on the other hand, he’s the football player, who has always hanged out with the same group of friends, and who likes girls. But then one day in upper secondary school they bump into each other and everything changes. Love strikes them like a lightning bolt to the heart and from then on nothing is ever the same. But being so close to another person is not easy. It turns out that Petter is unstable, has dark sides to his character and fluctuates between emotional states. With All I Know About Love Katja Timgren once again demonstrates her skill in writing with empathy, and writing convincingly and captivatingly about young people and their feelings. But it also demonstrates the way she dares to let the light shine through the cracks, even when the darkness seems at its most dark. It is easy to identify with this poetic young adult novel. It inspires questions about responsibility, love, and how difficult it is to be close to someone who is hurting.
