WORDS Martina Murray Juno Gastro “Juno is less a
gastro-pub and more a youth-club for people who are careful with pronouns and appreciate attention to detail and value for money.” So mused Totally Dublin’s restaurant critic Conor Stevens when he paid a visit to the Dorset Street establishment back in the mists of autumn 2023. In this town it seems that nothing inspires as much as a gauntlet thrown, and now, following a brief hiatus for a quick refurb, it looks as though Juno have risen to the challenge and created themselves a nice new gastro pub in the heart of Drumcondra. Not just any old gastro joint, but an actual Mediterranean inspired neighbourhood gastro pub in the form of Hera Restaurant with a gorgeous new colour palette to match.
