The popular owner of Caviston’s Seafood Restaurant & Food Emporium in Glasthule was recognised for his remarkable work across both the tourism hospitality sector and the food production sector, in a career characterised by a strong commitment to sourcing sustainable, high-quality ingredients. His avid championing of exceptional Irish food is clearly borne out in the quality to be found on plates in his own restaurant, as well as in the fine array of goods stocked throughout the shop in Glasthule, which this month features some lovely hampers chock full of delicious artisan produce. @cavistons 36 With the recent launch of an exciting new Sunday Lunch menu, The Seafood Café invites the city’s fish fans to enjoy a selection of dishes showcasing seasonal Irish seafood at its very best. The stunning set menu at Niall Sabongi’s popular eatery includes aperitifs, followed by starters, main courses, sides and desserts, all designed for sharing. Kick off with your pick of starter dishes from the restaurant’s most popular seafood snacks and starters, including their signature smoked salmon, new shellfish cocktail and amazing oysters. Mains include a choice of four different dishes for two, such as delicious Halibut en Croûte, Lobster and Monkfish Pie, and Classic Whole Poached Turbot in a Victorian Copper Fish Kettle. Each comes accompanied by a brace of sides, followed for afters by a choice of Cheese or a Pudding to share.
