ngmaster Jerry Fish has released the gorgeous Dreaming Of Daniel, an album of songs by the late, great Daniel Johnson with sterling contributions from May Kay and producer Cian Boylan. Jerry has ran the January 22nd ‘Hi, How Are You Day’ - a worldwide celebration of Johnson’s legacy which also focuses on mental health and well being - since 2020 and says, ‘This is my first vinyl record in thirty-four years and my first LP in fifteen years. A labour of love, five years in the making. I am very proud of it. It’s a record full of amazingly talented musicians, a fourteen-piece orchestra, a three-piece brass section, backing vocals from some of the best vocal talent in Ireland, praising one of the greatest songwriters of all time. The annual Hi, How Are You Day’ gig happens on 26th January 2025 in The Grand Social. By signing up for Christmas Jumper Day and wearing a jumper, vital funds are being raised that go directly to Children’s Health Ireland hospitals and urgent cares, giving these centres the resources they need to care for patients, including equipment, research and more. Supporters can choose their setting, whether that’s work, school, home, etc. and can sign up using childrenshealth.ie/christmas-jumper-day.
