ng. Performed to Igor Stravinsky’s music by Dan Langeborg of GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, Jeanette Langert’s critically acclaimed version of The Rite of Spring is a stylistic and intimate interpretation of the classical piece. Slowly building up a momentum in her characteristic choreography, the dancer is as one with the groundbreaking orchestral piece. This is Langert’s and Langeborg’s second collaboration after the acclaimed “Fuktig” (2011). Langert, who was awarded the Birgit Cullberg scholarship in 2011, has a minimalistic and well-defined approach in her work. Last year’s production “Kopplad”, inspired by a sentence in Tomas Tranströmer’s “Preludier II” from “Mörkerseende”, was a solo for a female dancer. She has also created two versions of Miss Julie, “Fröken” (2008) and “Julie” (2010), the latter for three dancers.
