ATION ABOUT OUR ACTIVITIES LFV’s mandate is to provide safe, efficient and environmentally friendly air navigation services for civil and military aviation. LFV should also work to ensure that the transport policy objectives are achieved. The state-owned enterprise LFV offers air navigation services domestically and internationally. In 2018, LFV carried out air navigation services at 20 airports all over Sweden, two approach control units, two control centres in Stockholm and Malmö, and a remote tower centre in Sundsvall. COMPOSITION OF THE LFV GROUP The Government’s instructions for LFV (SFS 2010:184) state that LFV and companies over which, by means of the authority, the state has a direct or indirect controlling influence together form a state-owned enterprise group. The group consists of the state-owned enterprise, the wholly owned holding company LFV Holding AB, its wholly owned subsidiaries LFV Aviation Consulting AB and LFV Norway AS, and the associated companies NUAC HB, Entry Point North AB, and SAAB Digital Air Traffic Solutions AB. LFV Aviation Consulting is LFV’s subsidiary for international consulting services within civil aviation. LFV has extensive and broad experience with projects both within the areas of air navigation services and airports in many parts of the world. LFV Norway AS was formed in 2015 and has not yet commenced any activities pending ongoing and future procurement of local air navigation services in Norway. The business LFV has on the Norwegian market is provided via LFV Aviation Consulting AB. NUAC HB is a subcontractor to LFV and the Danish air navigation service provider Naviair. LFV and Naviair each own 50 percent. On assignment from the parent companies, NUAC conducts en route air navigation services in the Danish-Swedish airspace from the control centres in Stockholm, Malmö and Copenhagen. NUAC hires the personnel needed for carrying out the assignment from LFV and Naviair. LFV and Naviair also make their control centres and other infrastructure available. Entry Point North AB (EPN) is jointly owned by LFV (at 33 percent) together with Danish Naviair, and Irish 14 IAA. EPN offers air navigation services training to the parent organisations as well as other customers. The Entry Point North AB Group includes the wholly owned subsidiary Entry Point North Ireland DAC and Entry Point Denmark ApS, as well as the Hungarian subsidiary Entry Point Central KFT, which is 51 percent owned – the remaining 49 percent is owned by Hungaro Control Plc, which is owned by the Hungarian State. In 2018, EPN formed the company Entry Point North Belgium SA. The Belgian company commenced operations in September, and is owned at 50 percent together with SKEYES (Belgocontrol). Saab Digital Air Traffic Solutions AB is 41 percent owned by LFV, and 59 percent by Saab. Through this company, the work in managing, developing, and conducting the digitalisation of remote air traffic management continues. The company offers complete remote air traffic management solutions by combining LFV’s unique operational expertise with Saab’s leading technology and global organisation. CERTIFICATIONS LFV is certified by the Swedish Transport Agency in accordance with the EU regulation on common requirements for the provision of air navigation services LFV is also certified in accordance with ISO standards 9001 and 14001 for quality management and environmental management, respectively. LFV has the Swedish Transport Agency’s approval to train air traffic controllers, design airspaces and carry out flight calibration of navigation aids etc. REPORTS FROM AREAS OF OPERATION AND GEOGRAPHICAL MARKETS LFV’s operations consist of three main lines of business: air navigation services, research and innovation, and other commercial services. More than 90 percent of the revenue is from air navigation services. AIR NAVIGATION SERVICES Air navigation services consists mainly of air traffic management. Air navigation services also include CNS services, flight information and weather presentation. The services are performed for both civilian and military aviation. The customers are the airlines and air operators active in the Swedish airspace, the Swedish
