OPANS A collaboration between the six air navigation service providers in Sweden, Denmark, Ireland, Austria Portugal and Croatia for coordinating the development of a joint air traffic management system. A6 Consists of air traffic management service providers in twelve European countries. The purpose of this alliance is to pursue the development of European aviation within the SESAR programme. B ORE ALIS An alliance between nine air traffic management service providers, including LFV. The objective is to create free route airspace all across the alliance by 2021, for the purpose of environmental sustainability. CUS T OMER S AND C OLLABORATIONS S WEDAVIA State-owned company tasked with operating and developing ten airports from Kiruna in the north to Malmö in the south. LFV has exclusive rights to provide air navigation services at these airports and has a close collaboration with Swedavia. PRIVATE/MUNICIPAL AIRPOR T S 33 airports across the country, from Pajala in the north to Kristianstad in the south. Swedish Regional Airports is owned by the Swedish Regional Airport Association (SRFF), which is a cooperation body for Sweden's non-governmental airports. S WEDISH ARMED FOR CE S Since 1978, civil and military air navigation services have been integrated. LFV provides air navigation services for military aviation at air bases and in the airspace. NAVIAIR Collaborations and partnerships are strategically important for LFV to be able to provide smart solutions for the aviation of tomorrow. LFV can therefore offer customers innovative and competitive products and concepts. The Danish air navigation service provider is responsible for air traffic management in the Danish airspace. LFV and Naviair have a jointly-owned company – NUAC – and a far-reaching partnership with each other. RE SE ARCH AND INNOVATION LFV’s research and innovation partners are the Swedish Transport Administration, Vinnova, INEA and universities. About 25 projects and feasibility studies were conducted in 2018 with researchers and doctoral students. C OMPANIE S S AAB DIGITAL AIR TRAFFIC SOLUTIONS AB Saab and LFV have collaborated for a long time in developing remote air traffic management. In 2016, a jointly-owned company was formed for developing, marketing, selling and operating remote air traffic management domestically and internationally. ENTRY POINT NORTH An air traffic management academy that is owned by air traffic management providers in three countries. Operations are conducted through a company jointly owned by Naviair and IAA. Its purpose is to coordinate and streamline training programmes and to ensure training development opportunities. N UA C LFV’s and the Danish Naviair’s joint venture. NUAC manages operations at the control centres in Stockholm, Malmö and Copenhagen. NUAC runs several strategic projects, in part to streamline systems and working methods. 21
