Swedish Performing Arts for an International Audie

ZOË POLUCH Zoë Poluch works and lives in and out
of both Stockholm and choreography. This takes the shape of publishing, dancing, organizing symposia, performing, choreographing, reading and teaching. Making performances has surfaced as the most fulfilling way to attack the challenging and always political question of “how to work”. Questioning both the conditions of making work and how that work encounters a particular audience has compelled her to momentarily move away from the stage and towards the highly contested “public space”. In 2015, she is developing a local microradio station in a suburb of Stockholm as well as continuing to tour internationally and nationally her playful, absurd and highly physical solo Example.
