Welcome to Smögen & 1
THE NATURE RESERVE OF RAMSVIKSLANDET Lush forests
, meadows and pastures with charming cows. Salty cliffs and the open sea on the horizon. Here you can hike on a variation of trails. Stay in a hostel, B&B or cottage/ campsite. You can get here by car from Hunnebostrand or walk a few kilometres from the bus stop Ramsviksvägen. Or perhaps you travel by kayak and go ashore at the campsite’s beach. FISKETÅNGEN In the southern part of Kungshamn lies the small community of Fisketången. The quaint fishing cottages with accompanying boathouses provide a charming and picturesque experience. Take a stroll along the authentic Tångenbryggan. In Sippans Bu, the association Tôllar o Seiel has its headquarters, and their beautiful traditional boats are lined up outside. The museum fishing boat Asta is moored at the pier during the summer. Tångenbadet is a well-maintained and childfriendly bathing beach that attracts many visitors during the summer. BADHOLMARNA BOVALLSTRAND The classic cliff bathing spot with its green and white bathing huts is a hidden gem for many, but it was actually visited by a crown prince during the inauguration of the facility in 1935. The crown prince later became King Gustav VI Adolf, and his autograph can still be found carved into the rock, just southeast of the wooden diving tower. Badholmarna consists of several smaller islets, which are connected by beautiful wooden bridges. HÅLLÖ - SO CLOSE AND SO UNIQUE Wind, sun-warmed cliffs and azure waters. The essence of the archipelago in one place. Café and hostel, sauna by the sea, lighthouse and exhibition. Perhaps Sweden’s most beautifully situated chapel. Hållö is kept alive by three lively associations that organise events and ensure that there are many experiences to be had on the island: the Hållö Lighthouse Association, Utpost Hållö and the Hållö Chapel Association. It’s not far to Hållö - but the experience is something magical. Take the boat from the Smögen boardwalk or Kungshamn harbour. (Prebooked during low season) Visit Smögen & 11
