The fact of a common Baltic Sea underlines the need of transnational cooperation. Where politics and policy making are facing limits due to national subjective point of views and positions, the cultural sector can go beyond those limits. Climate Change is the topic that we are all equally effected by, thus it is a very logical consequence that we have to connect and adapt beyond borders in the Baltic Sea Region. CULTURE4CLIMATE (C4C) offers a collaborative forum where such sharing can be made possible, and where experience across disciplines and borders can focus on action, not only on intentions. 4: Genomföra nde av EU:s strategi för Östersjör egionen (EUSBSR 4.1 More people benefiting from stronger Central Baltic communitie s Oct 2020 – 30 Sept 2021 Stockholms län 356 575 42 500 Architectural and landscape heritage is an expression of history, and it helps us to understand the relevance of the past to contemporary life and cultural identities. Despite their potential, many heritage places remain underused – in particular in peripheral regions. REVITALISE HERITAGE aims at empowering peripheral communities across the Baltic Sea region to transform underused heritage sites into interventions for economic, cultural and community development – and promote these approaches to potential adopters and decision-makers through media, film and gaming.
