OW'S FLIGHTS LFV's primary task is to provide safe, efficient and environmentally-adapted air traffic service for civil and military aviation. LFV should also contribute to achievement of transport policy goals. LFV is a governmentally-owned enterprise that offers air traffic control and other related services in Sweden and internationally. In order to meet increased demands on capacity, accessibility and sustainability, LFV develops new innovative services and concepts. LFV is also involved in the development of the European airspace through collaborations and partnership. LFV has 1100 employees and had a turnover of SEK 3.1 billion in 2019. A RELIABLE PARTNER LFV should be a reliable and flexible partner who contributes to the customers' ability to develop their organization based on the market's demands and challenges. With our solution-oriented, committed and innovative thinking, we build long-term relationships with customers and associated parties. LFV offers smart solutions for tomorrow's flights. LFV's operations comprise four primary areas of operation: air traffic service, other commercial services, research and innovation, and organizations that are directly funded by the government. Air traffic service accounts for approximately 90 per cent of income. The deliveries within the four areas of activity are linked to LFV's customers. LFV's customers are national and international airlines, the Swedish Armed Forces, Swedavia's ten airports, municipal, regional and private airports, as well as authorities, organizations and companies. LFV offers services within: AIR TRAFFIC SERVICE Local air traffic service LFV provides local air traffic service at 20 Swedish airports from Kiruna in the north to Malmö in the south. LFV works with a long-term perspective ad close to the customers in order to provide all-inclusive solutions that support the customer's business and organisation. The service offering also includes remote air traffic control, Remote Tower Services, RTS. En route The operations comprise air traffic services in the other airspace (en route) from the control centers in 6 Stockholm and Malmö. The Danish-Swedish airspace has been an airspace block since 2009 and, until August 31, 2019, LFV and Naviair air traffic service operated the jointly owned company NUAC in the Danish- Swedish airspace. The operations have, since September 1, returned to the relevant parent organization, Naviair and LFV. Airport services LFV is an experience provider of services that simplify and improve efficiency in air traffic control. LFV also offers everything that is needed to fulfill the requirements that accompany the certified services that LFV provides at an airport. CNS services Comprehensive international regulations place complex demands on airport owners. LFV offers airports technical airport and air traffic service-related equipment and is a certified provider of CNS services: communications, navigation and monitoring services. Flight information and weather presentation In Sweden, LFV is responsible for the management of aeronautical information for civil and military airspace. For airspace users, LFV provides information concerning, among other things, regulations, maps, flight routes, radio frequencies, navigation aids and flight procedures. LFV also provides the Swedish Armed Forces military source data, military flight procedures and other services. OTHER COMMERCIAL SERVICES Airspace services LFV offers services associated with airspace and procedure design and other airspace-related services. The complexities in designing airspace and flight routes increases as flight traffic increases and travel patterns change. Flight plans should enable effective flight from an economical, capacity, safety and environmental perspective. A large part of the work involves cross-border collaboration between various parties. Technical services LFV has extensive experience with various technical systems for air traffic control and ancillary services for airports. LFV's operation and management of systems and facilities take place in accordance with applicable legislation, regulations and standards.
