Environmental services LFV has extensive experience in designing flight procedures and airspace around airports. LFV can contribute to airports' environmental work with our expertise within these areas. Training LFV has wide/ranging expertise within air traffic service training, from basic air traffic control training to specially adapted training. Training of air traffic controllers is provided by the company Entry Point North AB, which is jointly owned by LFV, Denmark-based Naviair and Ireland-based IAA. LFV also offers basic orientation courses for parties in the industry. RESEARCH AND INNOVATION Research and innovation take place under our management as well as within the scope of collaborations with universities, other public authorities and organisations. The work is driven based on a number of strategic development areas with the objective of developing new concepts and solutions that increase safety, efficiency, capacity, accessibility and sustainability. The Swedish Transport Administration and Horizon 2020, EU's framework programme for research and innovation, are the major financiers of LFV's research.
