STRATEGIES AND OBJECTIVES LFV CONTRIBUTES TO AGEN
DA 2030 In 2016 many authorities were commissioned to contribute to the overall objectives determined by the UN in Agenda 2030, which Sweden decided to take part in as well. Agenda 2030 is a roadmap to create a long-term, sustainable, financial, social, and environmental development for everyone. It contains seventeen global goal areas and a number of target areas for each global goal. LFV’S OPERATIONS AND POSSIBILITIES TO CONTRIBUTE IS THE LARGEST WITHIN THE FOLLOWING GOAL AREAS: 3. HEALTH AND WELL-BEING Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages. • LFV is to provide safe, efficient and environmentally adapted air navigation services for civil and military aviation. LFV has a vision zero – we shall not be conducive in any incidentrelated to aviation safety, leading to people being injured or losing their lives. • LFV design terminal area procedures to and from airports to minimise noise and emissions. 7. AFFORDABLE AND CLEAN ENERGY Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all. • LFV will reduce its energy consumption with 2 per cent per year. • LFV uses 100 per cent green electricity. • For its headquarters in Norrköping, LFV has signed a green tenancy contract. • Reduced carbon dioxide emissions from business travel, and LFV uses carbon offsetting. 9. SUSTAINABLE INDUSTRY, INNOVATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE Build a resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialisation and foster innovation. • LFV will be responsible for research, development, and innovation. • A common Danish-Swedish airspace – leading to straighter flights. • LFV pursues research and innovation projects, focusing on environment improvement. 5. GENDER EQUALITY Achieve gender equality, and empower all women and girls. Gender equality is a part of our values. Target: Men and women, 40/60 in managerial positions, no gender is to be under 40 per cent. 11. SUSTAINABLE CITIES AND COMMUNITIES Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. • LFV conduct in-depth environment analyses of traffic flows in the airspace. • LFV works with development of airspaces, processes, and support systems. 12. RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns. • LFV carries out measures for reducing the amount of waste in the operations. LFV ANNUAL REPORT 2017 15
