COOPERATION AND PARTNERSHIPS NAVIAIR The Danish a
ir traffic service provider is responsible for air navigation services in the Danish airspace. LFV and Naviair has a joint company, NUAC, and an extensive partnership. GAL ANS LFV has a partnership with GAL, Global Aerospace Logistics ANS, in the United Arab Emirates, where LFV is a subcontractor providing air traffic management services. ELTEL LFV's control centres in Stockholm and Malmö are staffed around the clock with technical watch supervisors from Eltel Networks. SWEDAVIA State-owned company for operating and developing ten airports from Kiruna in the north to Malmö in the south. LFV provides air navigation services at these airports and has a close cooperation with Swedavia. ENTRY POINT NORTH – EPN An academy for air traffic control, owned by air traffic management providers in three countries. Its purpose is to coordinate and streamline training programmes, but also to secure development opportunities in the area of training. LFV was involved in starting EPN. NUAC LFV’s and Danish Naviair’s joint company NUAC handles operations at the control centres in Stockholm, Malmö and Copenhagen. NUAC runs several strategic projects, including the streamlining of systems and working forms. THE SWEDISH ARMED FORCES Since 1978, civil and military aviation are integrated. Air navigation services are provided for military aviation at air bases as well as in other parts of the airspace. The Swedish Armed Forces has no air traffic service of their own. SAAB DIGITAL AIR TRAFFIC SOLUTIONS AB SAAB and LFV have cooperated for a long time on the development of remotely operated air traffic services. In 2016, a jointly owned company was formed to develop, market, sell and pursue technology and operational expertise nationally and internationally. THE SWEDISH TRANSPORT AGENCY The Swedish Transport Agency is the Swedish supervisory authority for aviation. Produces regulations and exercise supervision. LFV collaborates with the Swedish Transport Agency on the design of regulations and controls for aviation. ICAO The International Civil Aviation Organization is a UN agency, tasked with increasing aviation safety through common regulations in areas, including air navigation services. ICAO also pursues issues such as airport design, the certification of pilots and controllers, and the airworthiness of aircraft. Most of the world's countries are members of ICAO.
